Maybe the manufacturer doesn’t want to deal with testing with every iOS device out there, but I’m not sure why they don’t make at least a mention of the included usb-c to lightning cable. I have an iPhone SE, 2022 model. It has a lightning port, but I didn’t want my next phone to render this camera useless, so I got the TC002C model. Figured worst case I could borrow my kid’s iPad to use it. I bought some usb-c to lightning adapters with it, but they didn’t work. So I borrowed the iPad. He got frustrated and figured he knew more than his old man, and tried to figure out how to make it work. “Did this adapter come with it?” No. “Did this cable come with it?” Yes, but it’s usb-c to usb-c. Well it turns out there are two cables included, and I didn’t bother to notice. One is usb-c to lightning. That one worked for me. May not work with all lightning iPhones, but it does for the 2022 SE. Turns out he does know more than his old man.As for the imagery itself, it’s a great little camera, as all the rest of these reviews note. I have a 200 year-old house, so this is critical for seeing which walls’ stud bays are filled with insulation and which are filled with cold air. It’s enlightening, for sure, as expected. In the end, it adds to my list of projects. There’s something to be said for “ignorance is bliss.”
