This review is for the YESPER 12V/24V Car Jump StarterI’ve seen positive reviews of other YESPER jump starters, so I thought I would give this a try.I got this jump starter about a month ago. I’ve used it to just start a whole house generator. I just got the generator and was trying to get it to run using propane. It was not easy. I had to turn the generator over and over with the electric start. I had this jump started attached to the battery so I didn’t run the battery down. On the battery alone, the generator sounded tired when it was turning over. This jump started gave it some vigor. It turned the generator easily by itself, but after a few tried it shut down to avoid over heating.Tonight I decided to try it on my car. I detached my battery and tried a few of my jump starters. This one was clearly the most powerful of them all and turned over my V6 with ease!The jump starter can be charged with a USB-C cable or the included power supply.This jump starter is necessarily big. It is well designed, but there is no place to put the dedicated charger. I’m glad they included a fast charge option, but I am not sure where to store it.Over all, it is an amazing jump starter!

Car jump starters are an essential accessory. Gone are the days when you'd have to carry around jumper cables and hope you could find a helpful motorist in the event of a dead battery. Just attach a jump starter, crank it up and go on your way. Just keep it charged and ready for emergencies and you're all set.Or so I thought. I enjoy working on and restoring cars. I have several smaller, less robust jump starters and thought they'd be sufficient for any emergency. A week or two ago, however, they met their match. I won't go into the series of events that led to this, but I needed to jump start a completely dead battery. My basic jump starter was fully charged and yet not up to the task of starting a completely dead battery. I had to call my wife to come help me out since I was in the middle of nowhere at the time.This is a serious upgrade. It's amazingly burly and well made. It's a bit heavier than my previous jump starters but that's necessary to deliver the performance. Given how good it is at starting cars, the 5.7 pounds you have to carry around is practically nothing. It charges extremely fast. I'm not sure how this is technically possible, but this serious jump starter reaches a full charge in significantly less time than the one that left me stranded. Seriously--it's never taken more than an hour to charge up completely. I also appreciate the fact that it doesn't try to do too much. It can be used as a light and a power bank and both of these just add to its functionality. Unlike my cheaper starting device, it doesn't try to be an air compressor too. I've got a spare tire I can throw on if need be. I'd much rather my starting device focus on the job I bought it for.You can find cheaper jump starters all over the place. You can also keep a few books in the car so you'll have something to read when the 'bargain basement starters' leave you stranded. This is a serious tool that will serve you well for years. Highly recommended!

This is a good size for keeping around the house or garage. I used it to start a Polaris Ranger that had the lights left on and it was no problem. Nice size for carrying around, sturdy cables with places to clamp them when you are not using it. Bigger than I want to keep in the car all the time which is why I say good to keep around the garage. Price seems kinda high for this but none of the others I have had were capable of starting a 24V system so maybe that is it.

Item came packed well. Includes an AC adapter with a round port for charging. Also has a USB C port to power things like a power bank. the clips to hook to the battery are medium sized, fit the hand well and are of better quality. There are also convenient places on the case of the unit to clip the battery leads when not hooked up to a car. It is also 12V and 24V jump pack capable.Overall the unit is more the size of a traditional garage/shop battery charger and is rather heavy. It works well for 12V applications and jumped a V8 truck, the lawn mower and a mid-sized diesel tractor, all of which were 12V systems. I do not have any 24V systems to test it with.Based on size and weight, I don't think of this unit as the portable piece I would through under the seat of the truck for an emergency. It is more designed to be the go to shop jump pack. With the battery size and weight, I would expect it to have long working times on a single charge.Overall happy with the performance. Fits the need.
